Kangxi Six-Character Mark
With lobed rim along the short wall， the base is flattened with centre recessed to be inscribed with six-character reign mark. The washer is further decorated in the center with a fish emerging from roiling waves， below the sun and a band of clouds， all against a black ground. It was believed that the fish will turn into dragon， representing a fortune for the emperor bringing good teaching to his prince.
